Magnus's Office; Saturday Night ALSO During the Dance [10/26]. -NFB.
It was a bit early in Tisarwat's Grand Plan to start poking around offices, but if bait a distraction presented itself, you took it. she Which was why Tisarwat and Trevor took a brief departure from the dance to make their way to the school. She took some of the small bottles of booze that she'd had ready for an occassion exactly like this (it was important to cover your tracks!) from her pocket to offer to the squirrels, and then she led Trevor over to where she recalled the map had said Magnus's office was, pausing at the door.
"Okay," she said, nodding to her partner in class-mandated, school-sanctioned crime, "as soon as I open the door, you head in and distract the thing, and while you're busy with that, I'm going to do a search of the room for the hatchet."
Flawless plan.
For her, anyway.

It was a good thing they'd been cheap, because she was clearly going to need to buy more, but, on the other hand, they'd definitely been cheap, so that did not go down nearly as smooth as she'd have liked.

She wouldn't even complain if he had, either, for that matter, because she still had a backup plan.
"Okay," she nodded. "Here we go."
Tisarwat opened the door, and moved slightly behind it, just in case Trevor himself wasn't enough to be between Tisarwat and whatever exactly this rug trap was.

Trevor looked into the office, finding it... pretty mundane. "What's the trapped part?" he asked, stepping forward to discover that as the rug surged up to snuggle the hell out of him.

"You're not really being strangled if you have enough breath to tell someone about it," she informed him, almost witheringly. "Besides, if even Eleanor could survive this, I'm sure you'll be fine."
Actually, now that she thought about it, radio never said explicitly that she had survived...
